Perfect Fit Blinds – Bracket Size & Bead Depth Guide

Perfect Fit Blinds are designed for uPVC or aluminium windows and doors with internal rubber beading. They are not suitable for square-edged frames or frames without internal beading.

✅ How to Check Suitability:

Measure the bead depth — this is the distance from the glass surface to the outer edge of the frame.

Your measurement must fall between 18mm and 38mm for the blind to fit correctly.

🔧 Available Bracket Sizes:

Brackets are available in the following sizes:
18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm, 26mm, 28mm, 30mm, 32mm and 38mm

Always round up to the next bracket size — never down.
Example:

A 22mm bead depth = 22mm bracket

A 23mm bead depth = 24mm bracket

⚠️ Bead Depth Is Critical

Choosing the wrong bracket size can make the blind appear too wide or too narrow — even if your measurements are correct.
The bracket controls how snugly the blind fits against the frame. For example, using a larger bracket than required can create visible gaps, making the blind look undersized.

If your bead depth is less than 18mm or more than 38mm, Perfect Fit Blinds are not suitable for your windows or doors.

Measurement Type – Glass

How to Measure Your Glass (Quick & Easy)

Use a metal tape measure – it’s more accurate.
Measure just the visible glass, not the rubber seal or beading around it.
Take 3 measurements for both the width and the drop (top, middle, bottom for width — left, middle, right for drop).
Write down the smallest measurement for each — that’s the one to use.

✅ Example:
If your width measurements are 840mm, 838mm, and 839mm → use 838mm.
